RollCall facilitates in-person meetups between users. We restrict the service to adults to reduce safety risks for minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 18 is using the service, contact admin@rollcall.games.
4. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily use RollCall for personal, non-commercial purposes. This includes:
- Creating and managing gaming sessions
- Joining sessions hosted by other users
- Communicating with other users
- Customizing your profile
This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions.

6. Session Participation
As a session host, you are responsible for:

As a participant, you are expected to:
- Respect the host's rules and guidelines
- Arrive on time or notify the host if you can't attend
- Treat all participants with respect
7. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of content you post (session descriptions, messages, profile information). By posting content, you grant RollCall a license to use, display, and distribute that content within the service.
8. Reporting Illegal Content
RollCall participates in the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) notice-and-action framework. If you encounter illegal content:
- In-app: use the Report button on any user profile, message, session, or group.
- Out-of-app: email admin@rollcall.games with (a) the location of the content, (b) why you believe it is illegal, (c) your contact information, and (d) a good-faith declaration that the information is accurate.
Member State authorities can also reach the operator at admin@rollcall.games for purposes of the DSA.
9. Account Suspension, Termination, and Removal
9.1 Why we may take action against an account
We may issue a warning, suspend an account, restrict features, remove content, or permanently terminate an account when we have reason to believe the account holder has:
- Violated these Terms or applicable law
- Harassed, threatened, or harmed other users (online or in person)
- Posted spam, scams, fake sessions, or misleading content
- Impersonated another person or operated multiple accounts in bad faith
- Distributed sexual content, hate speech, or other illegal content
- Attempted to circumvent a prior suspension ("ban evasion")
- Abused the reporting system or moderation tools
9.2 Tiers of action
Depending on severity and history, we may:
- (a) Issue a warning;
- (b) Temporarily suspend access (typically 1–30 days);
- (c) Permanently terminate the account.
9.3 Immediate termination
Severe violations may result in immediate permanent termination without prior warning. Examples include threats of violence, sexual content, fraud, doxxing, or credible safety threats to other users.
9.4 Statement of reasons
When we suspend, terminate, or remove your content, we will provide a clear statement of reasons specifying: the action taken, the facts relied on, the legal or contractual basis, and your options to appeal. This is required under Article 17 of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
9.5 Appeal
You may appeal any moderation decision within 6 months by emailing admin@rollcall.games with the subject "Appeal" and your account email or username. We will review the appeal and respond within 14 days. If we agree the decision was wrong, we will reinstate the account or content. You also have the right to use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under Article 21 of the EU Digital Services Act.
9.6 Repeat infringers
Accounts that, after warning, continue to post manifestly illegal content or commit frequent and obvious Terms violations may be permanently suspended. This is required under Article 23 of the EU Digital Services Act.
9.7 What happens to content and data on termination
When we permanently terminate your account:
- Your profile is removed and your username is reserved against reuse.
- Sessions you host and groups you own enter a 3-day read-only window so participants and members can read history and coordinate replacements; after that, they are permanently deleted.
- Your messages remain visible to recipients with your display name replaced by "Deleted user".
- Reviews and ratings you posted remain attributed to "Deleted user".
9.8 Self-initiated deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. When you delete your account:
- Your profile and personal data are removed from our servers.
- Sessions you host and groups you own enter a 3-day read-only window so participants and members can read chat history and coordinate replacements. After the window, those entities are permanently deleted.
- Your direct messages are deleted; the other party to each conversation receives one in-app notification that you have deleted your account.
- You may export your data first via Settings → Danger Zone → Export My Data if you want a copy.
9.9 Pro subscriptions on termination
Deleting your account does NOT cancel your Pro subscription — cancel in the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) first. If we terminate your account for cause (a Terms violation), no refund is owed. If we terminate without cause, you may request a pro-rated refund via admin@rollcall.games, subject to App Store / Play Store policies.
10. Subscriptions and Payments
RollCall Pro subscriptions are billed automatically. You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings. Refunds are handled according to the App Store or Google Play Store policies.

14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
15. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence regardless of this clause. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under EU law that cannot be waived by contract.
